The Analysis Process Step by Step
DNA Isolation
Pure genomic DNA is extracted from the sample (buccal swab, blood, hair, or other material) using standardised protocols.
PCR Amplification
Selected DNA regions are amplified using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The analysis covers 16–24 genetic markers (STR loci).
Automated Sequencing
PCR products are analysed by capillary electrophoresis with laser detection on a genetic analyser. Results are recorded digitally.
Genetic Profile Analysis
An expert geneticist compares the profiles of all tested individuals and prepares a final report with the probability of a biological relationship or its exclusion.
