Where do you come from?
DNA genealogy reveals thousands of years of your ancestors' journey. Discover which lineage you belong to — and which corner of the world shaped your genes.

The Y chromosome is passed exclusively from father to son for thousands of years with virtually no change. By analysing Y-DNA, you reveal your direct paternal line — literally your male genealogy.
The result assigns you to a haplogroup — a genetic group sharing a common ancestor who lived thousands of years ago. Haplogroups are mapped to specific geographic areas and historical peoples: R1b (Celts, Germanic), R1a (Slavic), I (Scandinavian), E (Mediterranean), and more.

mtDNA — Maternal line
Mitochondrial DNA is inherited exclusively through the maternal line — from mother to all children. By analysing mtDNA, you trace your direct maternal line across hundreds of generations.
The result places you in one of the maternal haplogroups. These groups are popularly named after the "Seven Daughters of Eve" — seven women from whom the vast majority of Europeans descend. The test is suitable for both men and women.
The Seven Daughters of Eve
Geneticist Bryan Sykes named the seven core European maternal haplogroups after women called Helena, Velda, Tara, Katrine, Xenia, Jasmine and Ursula. Each lived in a different part of prehistoric Europe and millions of people today descend from each of them. The mtDNA test reveals which "daughter" you belong to.
How does the test work?
Take a buccal swab from the inside of your cheek and send the sample to the laboratory.
The laboratory sequences the target DNA regions (STR / SNP markers).
We compare the result against a global haplogroup database and prepare your report.
You receive a clear result with an origin map and interpretation.
